The Workers' Compensation Board provides the Durable Medical Equipment fee schedule as a convenience to parties involved in billing and reimbursement of durable medical equipment provided to injured workers. This information is periodically updated based on the information obtained from the New York State Department of Health by the Workers' Compensation Board. The official fee schedule is the New York State Medicaid durable medical equipment fee schedule as contained on the Department of Health's emedNY web site. The Medicaid DME fees include periodic "provider communication" announcements published by the Department of Health which may not appear on the fee schedule the Workers' Compensation Board posts, until such time the schedule is updated by the Department of Health. Please be guided accordingly.
Note: The Medicaid provider manual for durable medical equipment and the policy guidance do not apply to workers' compensation except to the extent such documents contain the Medicaid durable medical equipment fee schedule.
